Every Australian Counts: Defend Our NDIS Forum

On the Every Australian Counts national day of action, Sort Your Support held a non-partisan community forum for people with disability and their supporters to discuss how the NDIS can be fixed. Joining me on the panel was Luke Nelson (peer advocate from VALID) and Mary Sayers (CEO of Children and Young People with Disability Australia).

As it was a community forum about fixing the NDIS, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Every Australian Counts or Sort Your Support to tell your story and propose suggestions about how the NDIS can be improved – Carl 👨‍🦼

We recorded the event for those who couldn’t attend and invite you to watch below:

Speaking on the VALID ‘Airwaves Access’ Podcast

Luke Nelson is a peer advocate from VALID (a Victorian disability advocacy organisation) and a good friend of mine. I was invited to chat about Support Coordination on their ‘Airwaves Access’ podcast.

I want to thank Luke and the wider team for inviting me to speak. All the best for your podcast! – Carl 👨‍🦼
